Maxim's MAX5725 8-channel, low-power, 8-/10-/12-bit, voltage-output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) include output buffers and an internal 3ppm/°C reference that is selectable to 2.048 V, 2.500 V, or 4.096 V. The MAX5725 series accepts a wide supply voltage range from 2.7 V to 5.5 V with extremely-low power consumption (6 mW) to accommodate most low-voltage applications. A precision external reference input allows rail-to-rail operation and presents a 100 kΩ (typ) load to an external reference. The MAX5725 devices have a fast 50 MHz, 4-wire SPI/QSPI™/MICROWIRE®/DSP-compatible serial interface which operates at clock rates up to 50 MHz. The DAC output is buffered, has a low supply current of less than 250 µA per channel, and a low offset error of ±0.5 mV (typ).
