XP Power's ITX series of 6 W DC/DC converters encapsulated in an industry-standard SIP 8-pin package measuring just 0.86 x 0.44 x 0.36 inches (21.85 mm x 11.1 mm x 9.2 mm). Believed to be one of the highest power ratings available in an SIP format and delivering a power density of up to 46 W per cubic inch. The converter is highly efficient, typically 86%, and meets the design requirements for modern energy efficient and space-constrained applications. No forced air flow or additional heatsinking is required.

The single and dual-regulated output ITX series comprises four 2:1 input voltage ranges of 4.5-9 V_DC, 9-18 V_DC, 18-36 V_DC, and 36-75 V_DC. Single-output models provide +3.3, +5, +12, +15, or +24 V_DC and duals ±5, ±12, or ±15 V_DC.

Standard input and output isolation is rated at 1.5 kV_DC, but a 3 kV_DC isolation option is available to order by quoting model suffix -H. Another option (-R) provides a remote on/off input for external control of the converter such as for sequencing start-up or automatic on/off switching.

The ITX series can be used in most environments and has an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +90°C. Full output power can be delivered up to +65°C without derating.
