SMC Diode Solutions' STF4080C is a common cathode power Schottky device. The device offers a very-high power density (40 A total) in combination with high-reverse voltage (80 V) capability. The combination of ultra-low forward voltage (VF) and low reverse leakage current (IR) subsequently result in a Schottky device that is very energy efficient as a result of very-low total conduction losses.
