Multi-Pixel Gas Sensor SGP

Sensirion's SGP30 is a digital multi-pixel gas sensor designed for easy integration into air purifier, demand-controlled ventilation, and IoT applications. The SGP30 is based on a multi-pixel platform, which integrates four gas sensing elements into a very small 2.45 x 2.45 x 0.9 mm DFN package featuring a fully calibrated air quality output signal. As the long-term stable metal-oxide gas sensor featuring multiple sensing elements on one chip, the SGP30 provides more detailed information about the air quality. The term total VOC (TVOC) refers to the total concentration of VOCs, which are simultaneously present in the air. The TVOC concept is used as a practical time and cost-effective method of surveying indoor environments for contamination.

The SEK-SGP30 evaluation board allows users to test a variety of Sensirion products, including the SGP30 gas sensor and the SHTC1, SHTW2, and SGT31 humidity and temperature sensing products. This evaluation kit gives users the options and tools necessary to quickly get their designs up and running.
