NXP's Freeway LS1046A (FRWY-LS1046A) is a high-performance, low-cost edge computing platform based on the QorIQ® LS1046A quad-core 64-bit processor and is capable of more than 45,000 CoreMark® performance. The FRWY-LS1046A platform supports onboard DDR4 memory, multiple gigabit Ethernet, USB3.0, and M2 Type E interfaces over PCIe® Gen3 for Wi-Fi. The platform can enable a wide range of high-compute applications including AI/ML, industrial gateway, smart building gateway, wireless gateway, and many more. There are two configurations available. The FRWY-LS1046A-PA is the bare board option. The FRWY-LS1046A-AC comes in an enclosure and includes a plug-in IEEE802.11ac Wi-Fi module to connect to a mobile device or PC. For both options, an HTML web page will provide a menu of pre-installed demos and videos of the different applications.
