MAX2248 1.9GHz Power Amplifier
Maxim RF / Wireless MAX2248 1.9GHz Power Amplifier is a single-supply, low-voltage Power Amplifier (PA) IC that is designed for 1880MHz to 1930MHz frequency band applications. This power amplifier provides a +20dBm (100mW) output power in the highest power mode. The MAX2248 amplifier includes a digital power control circuit to greatly simplify control of the output power. This power amplifier incorporates four digitally controlled output power levels from +4dBm to +20dB. The MAX2248 amplifier employs a digital input that controls the active or shut down operating modes. In the shutdown mode, the current reduces to 0.5μA. The MAX2248 amplifier integrates the RF input and inter-stage matching that simplifies the application of the IC. This power amplifier includes temperature and supply-independent biasing that provides stable performance under all operating conditions.
