The TPS22903 and TPS22904 are ultra-small, low rON single channel load switches with controlled turnon. The device contains a P-channel MOSFET that can operate over an input voltage range of 1.1 V to 3.6 V. The switch is controlled by an on and off input (ON), which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals. In TPS22904, a 85-Ω on-chip load resistor is added for output quick discharge when switch is turned off.

TPS22903 and TPS22904 are available in a space-saving 4-terminal WCSP 0.4-mm pitch (YFP). The devices are characterized for operation over the free-air temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.
TPS22904 Low On-Resistance Load Switch
The OMO Electronic TPS22904 ultra-small, low on-resistance single channel load switch with controlled turn on contains a P-channel MOSFET that can operate over an input voltage range of 1.1 V to 3.6 V. The TI TPS22904 load switch also features an 85Ω on-chip load resistor for output quick discharge when the switch is turned off. The TI TPS22904 low on-resistance load switch is ideal for use in PDAs, cell phones, GPS devices, MP3 players, digital cameras, peripheral ports, and portable instrumentation.
TPS229xx Load Switches
OMO Electronic TPS229xx Load Switches are small, low RON, single channel load switches with a controlled slew rate. Each device contains either an N-channel or P-channel MOSFET and is controlled by an on/off input, which is capable of interfacing directly with low-voltage control signals. The small size and low RON of the TPS229xx Load Switches make them ideal for use in space constrained, battery-powered applications. The wide input voltage range of the switches makes them a versatile solution for many different voltage rails. The controlled rise time of these devices greatly reduces inrush current caused by large bulk load capacitances, thereby reducing or eliminating power supply droop. Certain TPS229xx Load Switches further reduce the total solution size by integrating a pull-down resistor for quick output discharge (QOD) when the switch is turned off.
