The BTS5012-1EKB is a 12 m single channel Smart High-Side Power Switch, embedded in a PG-DSO-14-47 EP, Exposed Pad package, providing protective functions and diagnosis. The power transistor is built by an N-channel vertical power MOSFET with charge pump. The device is integrated in Smart6 technology. It is specially designed to drive lamps up to H4 / H7 or 3 x P27W + 2 x R5W, as well as LEDs in the harsh automotive environment. | Summary of Features: One channel device; Very low stand-by current; 3.3 V and 5 V compatible logic inputs; Electrostatic discharge protection (ESD); Optimized electromagnetic compatibility; Logic ground independent from load ground; Very low power DMOS leakage current in OFF state; Green product (RoHS compliant); AEC qualified

Infineon PROFET™ Smart High-Side Switches are placed between the supply and load to control the application. These highly integrated high-side switches incorporate a broad range of smart features like diagnosis and protection. PROFET switches consist of a DMOS power transistor and CMOS logic circuitry for complete built-in protection against overload, short-circuit, excessive temperature, ground loss, power supply loss, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The PROFET family of devices is also capable of protecting against dynamic overvoltage, such as load dump and inductive load turn-off.
