TPS25740B USB Type-C & USB PD Source Controller: OMO Electronic TPS25740B USB Type-C & USB PD Source Controller implements a source without any firmware configuration and is certified for USB Power Delivery 2.0 version 1.2 and Type-C™ revision 1.2. This controller is designed to minimize time to market for the user. The device is designed to work seamlessly with any USB PD 3.0 compliant sink. The TPS25740B monitors the CC pin to detect when a USB Type-C sink is attached, then it enables an N-Ch MOSFET gate driver to turn on VBUS. The device then offers four different voltages using USB Power Delivery. Three input pins (PSEL, HIPWR, and PCTRL) are used to configure the voltages and currents advertised. The device uses the CTL1, CTL2, and CTL3 pins to select the voltage from the power supply based on the voltage requested by the attached sink. The device automatically handles discharging the VBUS output per USB PD requirements.Learn More

USB Type-C Solutions: OMO Electronic USB Type-C Solutions offer power capabilities extended up to 15W via provisions that enable the source to dynamically manage current in a range of 0.5A to 3.0A. The device increases data speed rates to 10Gbps, and USB3.1 Power Delivery support supplies negotiable power up to 100W. Additional options include Alternate Modes, Display Port, and backward compatibility taking USB Type-C to a higher echelon.
