MPC8306 / MPC8306S PowerQUICC II Pro Processors: NXP Semiconductor MPC8306 and MPC8306S PowerQUICC II Pro Processors are ultra low-end MPC830x communications processors based on the e300 core architecture that provide improved price-to performance ratio, increased industrial functionality, and enhanced interface efficiencies while maintaining code compatibility with PowerQUICC I and PowerQUICC II processors. The e300 core is built on Power Architecture® technology with 16KB of L1 instruction and data cahces, dual integer units, and on-chip memory management units. NXP MPC8306 and MPC8306S processors also include two DMA engines and a 16-bit DDR2 memory controller running at 266 MHz.
