Silicon Labs EFM32 Gecko microcontrollers are 32-bit devices based on the ultra-efficient ARM Cortex™-M3 architecture. These EFM32 Gecko MCUs extend battery life by a factor of four, consuming a quarter of the energy required by existing 8-, 16-, and 32-bit MCUs. The Silicon Labs EFM32G MCU family achieves the lowest active mode current consumption of any MCU, consuming less than 180µA per MHz while executing real life code from Flash. Its standby current consumption of 900nA (typical) is also the lowest. The EFM32 Gecko MCU family's start-up time of less than 2µs is the industry's fastest.Learn More
