TVS & ESD Protection
Semtech TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Suppressors are state-of-the-art devices designed to protect sensitive circuitry from electrical stress. These TVS Diodes and ESD Suppressors safeguard against damage or latch-up caused by Electrostatic Discharge, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electrical Fast Transients (EFT), lightning, Cable Discharge Events (CDE), and other destructive voltage transients.
RClamp0512TQ Low Capacitance RailClamp®
Semtech RClamp0512TQ Low Capacitance RailClamp® provides 2-line surge and ESD protection on high-speed ports. The RClamp0512TQ integrates low capacitance, surge-rated steering diodes with a high power transient voltage suppressor (TVS). These devices clamping voltage is minimized with snap-back or "crow-bar" technology. Each RClamp0512TQ protects two 5 volt lines.
RailClamp® ESD Protection Solution for GigE
SEMTECH RailClamp® ESD Protection Solution for Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) Lines include RClamp3374N, RClamp0512TQ, and RClamp2502L TVS diodes. These diodes provide Surge and ESD protection for the GigE lines. The TVS diodes absorb the transient energy, clamp the incoming surge, and lower the junction capacitance to provide complete protection for the GigE. The RClamp TVS diodes are constructed using Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) process reducing leakage current and capacitance. These RoHS/WEEE compliant diodes are Pb-free, halogen-free and are available in different packages.Learn more
