Hirose's DF62W series is a new addition to their wire-to-wire family of connectors and features a space-saving multi-row pin layout. It has a smooth outside shell contour that allows unhindered movement through the conduit during installation. This connector is water-resistant and includes a plastic housing that eliminates exposure of the metal contacts to moisture. The DF62W features a handy mating mechanism that delivers a clear tactile click and visible indication that ensure a secure lock. The position of the latch can be seen during and after mating.

The rated voltage is 250 V_AC/DC. The current capacity varies between 1 A and 3 A depending on the size of the wire used. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +105°C.
